Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan Shri Haribhau Bagde Confers Degrees upon 1,824 Students

Apex University, Jaipur, proudly organized its 3rd Convocation Ceremony on 26 May 2025 at its Acharol Campus with great dignity and academic splendor. The ceremony was graced by the Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan, Shri Haribhau Bagde, as the Chief Guest. The event was presided over by the Chairperson of Apex University, Dr. Ravi Junewal.

During the ceremony, 1,824 students from various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs were awarded their degrees, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey. In recognition of outstanding academic excellence, 18 university toppers were honored with Gold Medals, while meritorious students were conferred the Dr. Sagarmal Junewal Memorial Award.

The convocation was further enriched by the presence of Niranjan Peethadhishwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri Maharaj and renowned educationist and social reformer from Odisha, Prof. Achyuta Samanta, as Distinguished Guests.

Education Rooted in Values and Culture: Governor Bagde

Addressing the gathering, Hon’ble Governor Shri Haribhau Bagde emphasized that ethical values and Indian culture form the foundation of true education. He expressed appreciation for Apex University’s efforts in nurturing value-based education and stated that learning should continue throughout life. He also highlighted the importance of establishing both intellectual and physical development, suggesting that universities should promote physical fitness alongside academic excellence.

Chairperson Dr. Ravi Junewal congratulated all degree recipients and reminded them that convocation is not an end but the beginning of a new phase filled with responsibilities, challenges, and opportunities. He urged students to contribute meaningfully to society and the nation.

Annual Report and Vote of Thanks

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Somdev Shatanshu, highlighted the academic progress and institutional achievements of Apex University during his address at the Convocation Ceremony. He emphasized the university’s commitment to quality education, research excellence, and holistic student development. Prof. Shatanshu reaffirmed Apex University’s vision of nurturing skilled, ethical, and socially responsible graduates. Registrar, Dr. Pankaj Sharma:
Registrar Dr. Pankaj Sharma played a key role in the successful coordination and execution of the Convocation Ceremony. In his address, he expressed gratitude to the Hon’ble Governor, distinguished guests, faculty members, and parents for their support and presence. He congratulated the graduating students on their achievements and encouraged them to uphold the values of integrity and excellence. Dr. Sharma formally concluded the ceremony with a vote of thanks.

In recognition of their exceptional contributions to Indian culture, education, social service, and spiritual upliftment, Swami Kailashanand Giri Maharaj and Prof. Achyuta Samanta were conferred with Honorary Doctorate Degrees. Addressing the students, Swami Kailashanand Giri Maharaj called upon them to uphold truth, service, and righteousness, and to dedicate their knowledge to the service of society and the nation.
