“Language is only the instrument of Science, and words are but the signs of ideas” – Samuel Johnson

The words we speak have very great power to change the minds. The words spoken by us expresses our communication skill. We Indians are believed to have good communication skills. India has given great leaders to the world.

The greatness lies in expression of thoughts with good communication skill. The present generation thus has this word bank in heritage. It is the time to use it to serve mankind. During this pandemic of COVID-19, we are bound to stay at homes all aloof from each other.

We have faced lockdown of everything. But the power to combat against the disease is really imparted by the communication of people through any medium like mobile phone, laptops, social media, print media. During this panic situation, we cannot forget the inspiring speeches of our prime minister.

Those speeches really boosted citizens to fight against corona. This proves the power of communication during trauma of corona. We all should keep interacting with each other. Although we cannot come close to each other but can communicate to heal the wound. People in mental trauma of corona needs healthy communication that shares their pain, sorrow and grief.

]We should look after senior citizens staying home by communicating about Dos and DONTs regarding this pandemic. The similar communication should be carried on between all other family members. The positive side of the coin is that during this pandemic, we all have got good time to spent with our family. This will surely be beneficial to fill the gap between generations.

The elders of family can guide the youngsters to have patience in this time, follow traditional ways of living by coming back to nature and youngsters can help the elders to become techno-friendly.

Thus, do not sit idle at home wasting time, cursing the situation, instead make sure that by following all the essential guidelines of government like wearing mask, sanitizing hands, keep social distancing, washing hands, greet by Namaste, no more handshakes, we have to be creative.

One can inspire masses towards positivity by the power of his words, either verbally or non-verbally i.e. the skillful, creative writing for newspapers, magazines, blog at social media. But make sure that you never become a part of the one spreading fake news. Finally, I would like you all to use the magical power of these words spoken softly, politely and humbly can help to win the battle against corona unitedly.
