Today, novel Corona virus disease (Covid-19) has taken a heavy toll in almost every field of our lives be it professional, economic or social- every sector is stuck with the common problem. But these times can be looked upon as a golden chance to enhance ourselves by brushing our skills and our personality. The most exotic characteristic of humans is their ability to adapt according to the ever changing- conditions and giving their best. This is the best time to put this into effect. The leader has the responsibility to boost the morale of his employees and take care of their mindset. He should be able to communicate with his fellow team members and guide them in whatever way possible. The challenges may be tough but that’s what a leader is made for- giving the best in every situation. These are some steps which I believe a leader should take, not only in these unprecedented times but also in daily routine:
  1. Strong and regular Communication with his team members.
  2. Display of a great deal of enthusiasm and optimism.
  3. Strike a balance between the Vision and Mission statement and the employees’ perspectives.
  4. Stay calm and positive in all situations.
  5. Be friendly with the team members and lend a helping hand whenever they are in need.
  6. Set suitable targets according to the situation and continuously monitor and adapt to them.
  7. Act efficiently as a bridge between the top management and the team members. These are few of the steps which I believe can be instrumental in maintaining a healthy environment in the organization. Thus the prime motive of a leader should be to take care of each team member in this unprecedented situation and maintain the solidarity and strength of the organization.
