AI ON THE BASIS OF UTILITY

Classification on the basis of functionality

On the basis of functionality there are basically four type of AI present which is reactive machines, limited memory, theory of mind and self-awareness. Reactive machines The machine which acts on current input and does not learn from past input is a reactive machine such as IBM’s Deep Blue, which defeated chess grandmaster Kasporov, is a reactive machine. Limited memory The machine which uses the past experience to create effective output in future usually the common example of it is siri of iphone which improvises and suggests us various things by going through our previous search history as well as self-driving vehicles technology. Theory of mind The AI which understands beliefs, thoughts and emotion and can interact with people just like a human being and able to interact socially with human like conscience in their actions project harmony and Sophia are some primary result of such AI. Self-Awareness The AI which is super intelligent, own conscience, self-awareness and emotion and can act on its own by using its senses just like a human being. If we will be able to make such a self-aware it will be a great victory for human race.

Branches of AI system

There are various types of AI systems which are shown below in the block diagram.

Machine Learning A machine learns and tries to overwrite if required as per requirement basically it identifies best output and learns usually it recognizes the pattern. The example of such is Google vision and text recognition on the basis of grammar and prominent use of words. Natural Language Processing (NLP) In this AI system manipulation of natural language like text and speech by software such as correction provided by word as per grammar and word recognition technique and example of speech is voice recognition system of Google Vision It is a system to give eyes to a computer system it recognize the pattern by node system and these system includes face detection techniques in various equipment such as mobiles, street cameras etc. these types of technologies are helping community to become more advance and secure. Robotics This is the most prominent AI system in which advancement is enhancing because there are various task to be done with precision which is a not possible for human as well as some task cannot be performed such as prgayan rover and chandrayaan-2 which were designed by using technology in which they can navigate themselves as well as can perform certain task like collection of sample by their own. Autonomous Vehicles In this category we can include all smart vehicles such as self-driving cars, buses, aircrafts, trains and ships which can navigate themselves safely without collision. Self-driving buses have been started by company BAIDU.
