Sphoorti is an annual sports fest aims to create and develop a sporting culture across the colleges. It is a very passion for sport that drives every one at Sphoorti to make the dream of a professionally run sporting league at university level. Be also aim to give our team of budding sports managers vital exposure to the world of management where they can learn to constantly give up gratifying product to every stakeholder that is involved in this event.

General Guidelines TECHNOAAGAZ – 2022
1.Apex University will not be responsible if any student/college/university registers themselves in more than one event where time of events are overlapping with each other.
2.Before Registration check the Date, Time, Venue and Rules & Regulations of each Event.
3.All the Registrations will be through our WEBSITE (technoaagaz.apexedu.org).
4.The Institute reserves all the rights to make changes in the schedule.
5.Each college must have a representative/team leader.
6.Participants should carry their college I-card with them.
7.The list of participants should be sent on the letterhead of the institution duly signed by authorized signatory.
8.Participants should report one hour before the commencement of the event of their participation.
9.The decision of judges will be final & binding.
10.Students are expected to maintain proper decorum of an educational institute all the time.
11.Participants should bring required material with them.
12.Participants will be solely responsible for their own belongings.
13.The institute will provide boarding, lodging facilities to outstation students only before prior intimation in nominal charges.
14.We expect you to send your entries latest by 9Th March 2022.
15.Teams will have to register themselves before participation.
16.Any form of obscenity will not be entertained and will lead to disqualification of team/participation.
17.For dance competition, participants need to submit CD/PD of their song at the time of registration & have to bring it on Pen Drive to avoid technical disturbance.
RULES
SPHOORTI – Day 1 (10th March 2022, Thursday)
CRICKET: 9:30 AM onwards
Event will be held at Apex Institute of Engineering and Technology, ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Near Apex Circle, Sitapura, Jaipur.
There will be Separate Teams and Matches for Men’s and Women’s. Each game is for 10 overs per side.
A bowler can bowl a maximum of 2 overs.
First 3 overs are mandatory for power play in which only 3 players can field outside the yards circle.
Only players with proper uniforms will be allowed to play in all the games. No shorts will be allowed in any circumstances.
Player can participate in the game at any time as long as they show up before the end of 1st inning and the umpire was notified of that player before the start of the game.
The umpire’s decision will be final. There shall be no arguments, over appealing. Any aggressive move against the match officials shall result in disqualification.
All teams must report to the coordinators 15 minutes prior to the match.
Opposite team will get a walk over if any team arrives 15 minutes late than their match time scheduled.
All team have to bring their own Kits only Ball will be provided by the organisers.
All matches will be played with leather Ball.
2. FOOTBALL: 9:30 AM onwards
Event will be held at Apex Institute of Engineering and Technology, ISI-5, RIICO Institutional
Area, Near Apex Circle, Sitapura, Jaipur.
There will be Separate Teams and Matches for Men’s and Women’s
Maximum 12 players are allowed per team. (7 playing + 5 extras).
Each half will be of the duration of 20 minutes. With a half time of 5 minutes. (Extra time will be added at the end of each half accordingly).
Normal FIFA rules will be applicable.
Only one team can participate from each college
3. VOLLEYBALL: 9:30 AM onwards
Event will be held at Apex Institute of Engineering and Technology, ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Near Apex Circle, Sitapura, Jaipur.
There will be Separate Teams and Matches for Men’s and Women’s
Team shall consist of maximum (6 players + 6 extras).
Quarter Final Match- 21 points and final match-25 points. All the preliminary rounds will be best of 3 sets.
Semi-finals and final will be best of 3 sets.
Volleyball will be provided by us.
4. BADMINTON: 9:30 AM onwards
Event will be held at Apex Institute of Engineering and Technology, ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Near Apex Circle, Sitapura, Jaipur.
Matches will be in team event format.
A Team should consist of 5 Players.
Shuttle cocks will be provided by us.
Badminton racket will be brought by the respective teams.
All games will be played according to best of 3 basis , each set will be of 15 points.
5. BASKETBALL: 9:30 AM onwards
Event will be held at Apex Institute of Engineering and Technology, ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Near Apex Circle, Sitapura, Jaipur.
There will be Separate Teams and Matches for Men’s and Women’s
Team should consist of maximum 12 players
10 minutes each quarter with 2- minute break between the quarters and 5 minute at half time.
Ball will be provided by us.
Normal FIBA rules will be applicable.
6. KABADDI: 9:30 AM onwards
Event will be held at Apex Institute of Engineering and Technology, ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Near Apex Circle, Sitapura, Jaipur.
There will be Separate Teams and Matches for Men’s and Women’s
Maximum 12 players are allowed per team.
(7 playing + 5 reserved).
7. CHESS: 9:30 AM onwards
Event will be held at Apex Institute of Engineering and Technology, ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Near Apex Circle, Sitapura, Jaipur.
Both Men’s and Women’s can play against each other as per the draw.
Matches will be played on knockout basis.
The first mover will be decided on toss basis.
If a player touches one of their own pieces they must move that piece as long as it is a legal move.
If a player touches an opponent piece they must capture that piece.
A player who wishes to touch a piece only to adjust it on the board must first announce what they are doing, usually by saying “adjust”
Special moves like castling are in the game
The replacement piece in the special pawn rule is to be placed on the same square in the last row where the pawn was
There will be 2 types of matches
Knockout Match:
This will be 20 minutes round and the maximum time allotted for each move is 20 seconds. All the matches played before quarter-finals will be of this type. If the match remains unfinished then the points will be considered to decide the winner.
Full Matches:
Full time will be allotted to the players to finish the match.

Bring your own Rubik cube.
The first two who will finish the game with least time will win.
5. ARM WRESTLING: 9:30 AM onwards
Event will be held at Apex Institute of Engineering and Technology, ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Near Apex Circle, Sitapura, Jaipur.
Two referees manage each match. Each of them is located on the opposite sides. This way, the officials can judge the competitors and notice their grip from both sides.
The matches have no specified time-limit, but the referee may call a halt to the match if one or both the Competitors are, in his opinion not in a state to carry on.
The competitors have to approach the table before starting the match and make themselves comfortable. Afterwards, they should proceed to grip their opponent’s hand. The players must carefully make the grip through joining their palm to palm, with the thumb knuckle visible to the referee. It is also required that the competitors’ other hand should grip their respective hand peg.
Competitors can choose to start a match in the referee’s grip or a strip, but care is taken as, both the competitors must agree to this.
Once the referees are happy with the gripping from both the competitors, the match is allowed to begin. Each competitor attempts to pin his/her opponent’s arm onto the touchpad to score a point.
The applied pressure should be in a sideways capacity to force their opponent’s hand to the touchpad. The participants cannot apply backpressure to drag the opponent off towards the centre of the table.
The match is won by the competitor who pins their opponent’s hand onto the touchpad. At this moment, if the head referee is satisfied for a valid pin; he/she will shout ‘stop!’ and indicate their victory by instantly raising his/her arm.
Any pin is only counted as valid when any part of the competitor’s natural wrist touches the touchpad.
Arm-wrestling matches have numerous types of foul such as touching any part of your own body during the match, crossing the shoulder into opposition’s area, dropping the shoulder below the height of the touchpad, foul language, abuse or poor sportsmanship etc.
6. TABLE TENNIS: 9:30 AM onwards
Event will be held at Apex Institute of Engineering and Technology, ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Near Apex Circle, Sitapura, Jaipur.
All Matches will be in Mixed Doubles, Doubles, Singles Match format
TT balls will be provided by us & racket will be brought by the respective team.
All games will be best of 3 each set will be of 11 points.
Final game will be of 5 set
Normal TTFI rules will be applicable.
7. BASKETBALL (Semi-finale): 9:30 AM onwards
Event will be held at Apex Institute of Engineering and Technology, ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Near Apex Circle, Sitapura, Jaipur.
There will be Separate Teams and Matches for Men’s and Women’s
Team should consist of maximum 12 players
10 minutes each quarter with 2- minute break between the quarters and 5 minute at half time.

8. KABADDI (Semi-Finale): 9:30 AM onwards

Event will be held at Apex Institute of Engineering and Technology, ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Near Apex Circle, Sitapura, Jaipur.
A game shall be of 15 points. The player/ team who reach 15 points first shall be the winner of the game.
A team can be of 2 players either 1 Male & 1 Female or Both Females or Both Males.
11. TUG OF WAR: 9:30 AM onwards
Event will be held at Apex Institute of Engineering and Technology, ISI-5, RIICO Institutional Area, Near Apex Circle, Sitapura, Jaipur.
This is a Team Event, which will be held for both Men’s and Women’s separately.
Each side must have 7 players.
The team which pulls the rope to their area wins the game.
Each team is allowed two cautions before getting disqualified
SPHOORTI – Day 3 (12th March 2022, Saturday)

RULES FOR FEMALE STUDENT MATCHES
All the qualifying matches will be of 6 overs each and semi-finals and finals will be of 10 overs each.
There is no power play or fielding restrictions.
NOTE:
If the team doesn’t report sharp 15 minutes before match then the other team will get BYE.
If both the teams won’t report 15 minutes before the match timing then the match will be called off and both teams will get ZERO points.
Any Team at least require 11 players to play the match .No one is allowed to play the match with less than 11 players
All matches will be played from Red Tennis Ball.
The Fixtures and Time of Match will be declared on 10th March on Opening Ceremony.QUALIFICATION RULES:
Ranking of the teams per group will be decided by NRR. [Net run rate] .The net run rate will be decided by CRICHEROES app.
On the basis of positions of teams after their 1st match, the teams that stood 4th and 5th in professional, intercollegiate and female cup will play a match each to qualify further.
BASKETBALL (Final match): 9:30 AM – 01:00 PM
